PRIVACY POLICY
As jewelers for over 50 years, The Sydney Rosen Company enjoys many close and enduring relationships with our customers. We have served four generations of Philadelphia area families, and have been a part of many cherished moments—from weddings and anniversaries to birthdays and graduations. We have been asked to
keep many secrets and preserve many surprises. We safeguard this gift of trust as a serious responsibility.
In this spirit, the Sydney Rosen Company promises that any information you share with us will be kept strictly confidential, and will not be shared with third parties, except as needed to process your order. We only use
your information to complete and ship your order, authorize payment by verifying your identity, or to contact
you regarding your order. As with all valued customers, we will also send you occasional mailings, which may include reminders for your annual free jewelry cleaning and inspection, important news about sales or special merchandise, or personal notes and greeting cards. The Sydney Rosen Company will only disclose personal information if required by law, or if we believe that disclosing the information is necessary to conform to the law.


PROTECTION FROM
FRAUDULENT CHARGES

If a third party obtains your personal information from a purchase made on our site, and uses that information
to commit credit card fraud, you are protected. According to the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank may hold you liable for up to $50 in fraudulent charges. Many banks guarantee that you will pay nothing under such conditions. However, should your bank hold you liable, the Sydney Rosen Company will cover up to the entire $50 if the unauthorized use resulted through no fault of yours, from purchases made on our secure server. If your credit card is used without your authorization, you must notify your credit card company in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.


HOW WE PROCESS YOUR ORDER:
Billing, Shipping and Order Confirmation

Usually within 24 hours of placing your order, you'll receive an e-mail notifying you that your order is being processed. We'll confirm your cost, and inform you of shipping and delivery dates for items such as wedding bands and diamond stud earrings. Unless you've requested FedEx Overnight Delivery (a $25 option), all jewelry is shipped by registered mail–the safest way–and insured for the full purchase price.

Deliveries can only be shipped to the billing address, and all deliveries must be signed for. To ensure that your diamond or engagement ring is exactly what you want, we need to speak with you before completing your custom order. We will call you personally during our business hours at the number you specify, or request that you call us. Our goal is to make sure that the stone you chose is available, that all your questions are answered, and that your handmade diamond engagement ring is fully satisfactory in every respect.

If the diamond you’ve chosen is no longer available, we will quickly provide one or more alternative choices which come as close as possible to the precise qualities and cost of your original selection. Upon your approval
of the new diamond, we will confirm your purchase, costs and delivery date(s) via phone and/or e-mail. Once David or Steven Rosen, or one of Sydney Rosen’s certified gemologists, have the opportunity to review your custom order with you, we will promptly process your order and inform you of the delivery date(s). If you have any questions or special requests, please contact us directly via phone or e-mail.


RETURN POLICY
The Sydney Rosen Company offer a 30-day return on all in-stock items. To obtain a refund or exchange,
please follow these return procedures. Refunds will be credited to your account within two weeks.
 
Before returning any merchandise for a refund or exchange, you MUST obtain a Return Authorization Number (RMA) by calling us toll free at 1-888-859-5265 or via e-mail to drosen@sydneyrosen.com. An RMA will be issued with shipping and insurance instructions. We are available Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am
to 5:00pm. We cannot accept packages without a RMA number.

To obtain a refund or exchange:

    1. Obtain a Return Authorization Number (RMA).
    2. Send the package by registered mail–the safest way. Do not use UPS or Federal Express.
    3. Insure the package for the full amount of the invoice.
    4. Include all shipping charges.
    5. Do not write on the package "diamonds", "jewelry" or other words which may invite theft.
    6. Enclose the packing slip.
    7. Print your name and address on the outside of the package in the return area.
    8. Mail the package to:

Conditions of Return:
• Each item must be returned in the condition it was sent.
• Items must be returned with all original materials.
• Diamonds must be returned with the original gemological laboratory certificate.
  If the certificate is not returned, you will be charged for the cost of replacing it.
• If the item is a gift, the RMA number must be written on the address label.
  Gifts may be exchanged, or returned for a Sydney Rosen gift certificate.
  We can only give money or credit charges to the original purchaser.
