Prong settings come in countless styles, and with rounded, flat or V-shaped prongs.
Extra prongs mean added security, and can make a stone look slightly larger, but may
make a small stone look smaller.

Hand finished and made to order, this exquisite 3-stone setting features a 4 prong wire basket design atop a rounded 2.5mm shank. Diamonds are chosen to match the size and quality of the center stone.

(Generally, a 5-to-1 ratio works best: a 1 carat diamond is paired with .20 carat side stones.) Prices vary accordingly. Available with colored gemstones for the sides.

Style No. H42/SO Our exclusive hand-made mounting features 4 diamonds with a total weight of .5 carat (larger stones are available) on a rounded 2.25 mm shank. The center prongs are hand made to accommodate diamonds of any shape or size.

Style No. M73/K50

This beautiful hand-finished mounting uses baguette-shaped diamonds proportionally matched to the center stone for size and quality. The 2.25mm shank is slightly pinched at the top where it meets the baguettes, then tapers to 2mm. A basket style center setting completes the look. Available in platinum, white gold or in 18k gold and platinum.
