A quick note to let you know that John proposed Friday Night, on bended knee,
with engagement ring in hand- after the diamond-related near-heart attack I
gather you all had on Friday morning!- and is BEAUTIFUL, just absolutely STUNNING.
I am getting compliments right and left. A woman stopped me on the street this
morning to ask me about the ring! I can’t imagine a better conclusion to an

Dear Mr. Rosen,
Thank you for giving so much of your time while helping us
select an engagement ring. Luckily, Gerry wasn’t like my cousin, Kenny.
He didn’t wait too long to give me the ring. A couple days after it was
delivered, Gerry asked my parents and then he asked me the following day.
We are planning an October wedding.
I have had many compliments on my ring. One lady called Mommom Mariam
and said it was the most beautiful and sparkling diamond she had ever seen.
She wanted to know where your store is located. But, most importantly – I love it!

Dear David,
Just a note to say thank you for all of your efforts in locating the most
beautiful diamond and creating the most perfect ring for my engagement to Donna.
We walked into your store over the summer. You greeted us professionally and
helped us to zero in on the Asscher cut for her ring. You also showed us a
setting that would sit completely flesh against a wedding band, which was
important to us. You listened carefully to what we wanted and educated us with
your superior knowledge of diamonds. That got me started. I went to learn
everything I could about Asscher cut diamonds. Called you knowing exactly what
I wanted for her right on down to the dimensions, table percentages, depth
percentages, etc. I wanted the most perfect stone in the 2.5 to 3-carrat range.
You showed me many diamonds to choose from but one stood out. It was the most
beautiful diamond I have ever seen. It was a 3.06 carat, E color Asscher that was
so pure white and reflective. It was perfect-exact what I was looking for my
perfect fiancé to be.
I proposed to Donna on October 15, 2005 in Rittenhouse Square Park.
I wrote her a beautiful poem and presented her with her ring. At first
she couldn’t even look at is she was so excited. When she did she was totally
blown away. She loves her ring so much. Everyone who sees it thinks it is spectacular.
David, thank you so much for helping me to create such wonderful memories.
